Survey: how can we make DivSeek better?

September 18, 2022

Our partners at the University of Saskatchewan have launched a survey to help us better understand how we can serve the needs of our member organizations.

We are calling on all DivSeek member organizations to weigh in, and provide their own thoughts and insights on how DivSeek is performing as a community of practice.

The key word is ‘community’. This survey is your opportunity to express the unique needs of your organization, and to help us tailor our activities to better support you.

We want to know how you think we’re doing – are we providing enough opportunities for networking? Would you like to see more education and training around plant genetic resources? Or perhaps you’d like to see greater impact on government policy and industry standards.

Moreover, we want to know more about you in these changing times, and how the members that make up our community are adapting and evolving to meet global challenges. We want to know who you are, how you interact with DivSeek, and how you collaborate with other member organizations.

The answers you provide will help us adapt to our community needs, to better understand the combined people power we can harness.

The survey is part of a wider study aimed at understanding where DivSeek is placed and can make a difference in the future. We expect the ideas and opinions you provide will help us better serve our mission to support the characterization, utilization, exchange and traceability of plant genetic resources.

The survey can be found here. It should take about 15-20 minutes to complete.
